The Fuding Ningde Expressway, also known as the Funing Expressway, is a highway located in Fujian Province, China. It is the first section of the main line of the Shenyang Haikou Expressway in the north-south direction of the national highway network in China. It is reported that the Funing Expressway has a total length of 141.5 kilometers, including 31.3 kilometers of the Fu'an connecting line, with a total investment of 8.1 billion yuan and an average cost of 46 million yuan per kilometer, making it the most expensive expressway in China to date. Due to the complexity of geological conditions and the crossing of mountains and seas, there are 14 accompanying roads and 16 super large bridges on the 141 kilometer highway, including 8 sea crossing bridges. The total length of bridges and tank channels is over 60 kilometers, accounting for one-third of the total project. After the opening of the Funing Expressway, the northbound route from Xiamen to Zhejiang and the southbound route to Guangdong will save at least half of the time compared to the original national highway route. This coastal expressway connects Fujian with the Yangtze River Delta and the the Pearl River Delta, two economically developed regions, and will play a key role and play an important role in accelerating Fujian's opening up and achieving economic take-off!

This project uses BSFBTU2003 tunnel lights, with over 7000 BSF7000 lighting fixtures used throughout the tunnel.
