Qingdao Metro Line 6 Project
The Qingdao Metro Line 6 project employs an advanced LED tunnel lighting system integrated with the TACS intelligent lighting control platform, leveraging three core capabilities—TACS‑based signal‑linked dimming, FAS‑integrated emergency response, and ultra‑low‑maintenance, virtually maintenance‑free operation—to achieve a transformative upgrade of tunnel illumination, moving from standalone time‑controlled systems to fully coordinated, system‑wide integration. This project has set a benchmark as the nation’s first fully automated (TACS) line equipped with smart tunnel lighting, establishing a replicable and scalable “Qingdao Standard” for the design, construction, and operation of lighting systems on fully automated urban rail transit lines across China.
